I created this piece after being inspired by my friend’s coffee cup holder. I got inspired to do something related to the 4 elements. I also wanted to integrate an Indonesian culture, so each island/platform in the drawing is inspired by one of the many tribes of Indonesia. But also want to give fantasy vibes, so i made the cup holder into a giant island. Each tribe is different and unique, just like the elements, but they are still connected and balance each other. -Air, inspired by the Suku Dani tribe from Papua -Water, inspired by Suku Aga and Majapahit from Bali -Earth, inspired by Suku Dayak from Kalimantan -Fire, inspired by Suku Tengger
