【04】Flustered Suitcase
For this character's design, I imagined her lost on a trip, holding a map she can't quite make sense of — she's flustered, embarrassed, and not sure which way to go. The map is even upside down, a small detail that tells the whole story on its own.
For the background, I drew inspiration from several Japanese coastal landscapes — the ocean, the hydrangeas, the quiet paved street — to place her somewhere specific and give the scene a real sense of location, rather than a generic backdrop.
Her design stays close to a classic suitcase shape, with small human touches (hands, expressive eyes, a blush) added on top, and a little rabbit charm hanging from her zipper — the kind of small keepsake a traveler might pick up along the way.
