Artist 12 Pro not detected as monitor
popover-toggle-icon

Just got my Artist 12 Pro in the mail and getting it set up. The problem is that I cannot see anything on the display tablet screen.

I've connected the tablet to my PC via HDMI cable and USB, and to power. The tablet screen will boot up with the "XP-PEN" logo and say "no signal."

Windows is not detecting the tablet as a monitor, and in the Display Settings. When clicking the 'detect' button, it says "Didn't detect another display."

I've installed the drivers from XP-PEN website and configured the pen sensitivity. The pen can move the mouse cursor on my PC and can click properly. The tablet seems to be working fine, but I need to be able to see my desktop on the tablet screen itself

I've used second monitors in the past and understand how to extend your display on to another monitor, but Windows does not seem to recognise the tablet as a monitor. Under Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers, I have found the tablet showing up as "11.6 inch PenDisplay" as a keyboard under devices...

Thanks for your time
