"Depths of the Forgotten City" Deep beneath the surface, where light fades and silence takes over, an explorer drifts through the ruins of a lost civilization. Wearing a vintage diving suit, the rider cruises through the ocean depths on a whale shark, stumbling upon an ancient sunken city, its columns covered in coral, swallowed by the sea. Creative Process : The project started with a moodboard on PureRef pulling references from ArtStation and Pinterest, then some sketches to figure out the composition. I blocked out the scene in Blender to get the layout right, then worked on the lighting with caustic effects to recreate how light refracts through water. The rider was built piece by piece, whale shark, saddle and character, before adding the environment: temple, rocks and corals. A volumetric fog was added for atmosphere, and everything was wrapped up in compositing. I'm joining this contest because I'd love to win a pen display tablet. I really want to get into digital sculpting and drawing to level up my 3D projects in Blender, and a screen tablet would be a game changer for that.

This work is inspired by that video I saw where a capybara is riding on the back of a crocodile. They are often seen as 'chill creatures' where you see them like they don't care about anything even being around dangerous animals. In this piece, I made them more adventurous as Riders of the Waterworld. They are mounted on different sea creatures while escaping from that giant octopus which destroyed their ship and causing chaos.

He went on a sea journey while ray fish upon his journey je discovered a strange monument which is surrounded by a huge dragon. The dragon is so huge that it covers the whole city. With it's buy colour it completely resonate with the deep sea.

This is my entry for the Riders of the Waterworld contest! My basic idea was to create a type of race with sea creatures being ridden by different types of characters, where the XP Pen and Magma mascots make cameo appearances.😉

01 Sleepy Chandelier I want my character to have a realistic and kinda ancient look. In showing how sleepy it is, I focus on the eye expression the most. He's a a little bit creepy looking but I like how the way he looks.

06 Haughty Teapot- Advanced track Meet the Haughty Teapot—a porcelain aristocrat whose confidence borders on unbearable. She turns away with quiet disdain, effortlessly changing outfits as though yesterday’s glaze is already out of style. In her world, presentation is everything… and everyone else is simply trying to catch up. Elegance is matched only by her inflated sense of self-importance. She rarely acknowledges those around her, instead turning her head away with a poised, dismissive expression as if everyone else falls beneath her standards. Her posture is intentionally rigid and graceful, reinforcing her belief that she deserves admiration without having to seek it. One of her defining traits is her ever-changing porcelain finish. Throughout the animation, her teapot changes into different colors and decorative patterns, symbolizing her obsession with appearances, status, and presenting herself as the most refined object in the room. To her, every moment deserves a new look, and remaining the same would be far too ordinary. The design combines the familiar warmth of a teapot with the cold aloofness of aristocratic pride. Soft curves and elegant details contrast with her distant body language, creating a character who is visually inviting yet emotionally unreachable. Every design decision—from her averted gaze to her changing “outfits”—was made to communicate vanity, sophistication, and an unwavering belief in her own superiority.
