Hello, my name is Samuel Bujanda. I created this illustration inspired by the essence of the art challenge. With this piece, I wanted to capture the magic of being creative, the joy behind it, and the idea of creating a colorful world. Of course, I followed the challenge guidelines. I chose the colors apple green, candy pink, and soft yellow, focusing on how they are placed within the composition so they would be the dominant colors, aiming to convey a spring-like palette. I also kept the spring theme in mind. I hope you like it!

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Grab your seats and enjoy the Spring 2026 Concert! When I think of spring, I don't solely think of flowers and foliage, I think of sound. When spring has arrived, the sound of nature comes alive. The sounds of the crickets, grasshoppers, frogs, toads, and the zipping of the dragonflies and bees all work together to make a beautiful spring harmony.

Dive into a world where the ocean isn’t blue but it’s candy! Captain Fox, the fearless orange fox with goggles on and pilots his custom Mecha Shark through the sweetest depths imaginable. This isn’t a normal submarine. It’s a turbo charged, riveted, grin toothed robot shark with eyes that light up as it tears through frosting covered reefs and sugar sprinkled seafloor. The Waterworld here breaks every rule. Coral becomes sweet icing dripping down rock formations. The seabed is scattered with giant lollipops, candy canes, and swirling gumdrops. Fish with neon scales dart between caramel currents while pearls rest inside candy shell clams.With one paw on the throttle and the other waving, Captain Fox laughs. For him, exploration isn’t about maps, it’s about taste, wonder, and chasing what no one’s seen before. Every burst from the Mecha Shark’s engine leaves a trail of cloud bubbles.“Rider of the Waterworld” is for the brave souls who ride beyond the known. Where adventure meets imagination, and the deep sea becomes an endless candy playground. Buckle up. The sweetest ride starts now!

#XPPenTutorialPractice I followed the tutorial for lighting the scene, but I found it difficult to add the colours, otherwise I tried to make the flower glow and gave this contrasting colours adding to the composition. This practise was fun.

Inspired by the Uros Floating Islands in Peru, markets in the Waterworld float on reed islands. They don't mind drive-by (or... Swim-by?) pick-up by passing riders. This particular rider runs DoorSplash errands, picking up deliveries at high speeds for waiting clients. Though things are a little more lax here, as the riders can bring along their favorite pets and there's barely any speed limits.
