First sketch for a competition piece. A fairy playfully chasing a butterfly — both reaching toward the sky, as if spring is born from their movement. She is the bringer of spring: through her flight and dance, she awakens the world. The artwork will be built around three main colors, with a strong focus on flow and motion. I’m entering this competition with calm, grounded expectations. I mainly work as a 3D jewelry sculptor, and while I’ve been drawing since childhood, I haven’t touched projects like this in years. But inspiration struck — and I felt I had to give it a shot.
