The kangaroo rat is the only rodent that can not only hold its own against a rattlesnake but also cause a fair bit of mischief and mayhem of its own. This is my finished piece for the SCBWI Enchantment Show, running during the month of May 2023 at the Santa Fe Public Library Main branch in downtown Santa Fe.
