I wanted to capture the idea of artistic growth and celebration for this artwork. The future is full of possibilities and potential. I chose to convey the creative possibilities of the future by adding the blank sheet of paper Fenix is about to step onto. I included a trail of drawings leading from Earth into space to convey the idea of artistic growth in my artwork. In the trail of drawings, I included some of my old traditional art, with one drawing even being a thumbnail I made for this contest before changing my mind and creating my entry.
