Growth in art isn't really a linear process— there are many ups and downs, tiredness and frustration from feeling like I'm not making any progress at all. But then I think way back to the very first scribbles I ever made on the walls, and by shifting the perspective away from the present, I know for a fact that with every single drawing I do, no matter how simple or complicated it is, I'm still evolving constantly, and in the future, I'll find the drawings I'm making at this very moment and know I learned and progressed from them as well. In my drawing, I tried to represent the feeling of growing and always looking forward, while also not forgetting the importance of the past that led to where you are right now. I hope I managed to get the idea through!^^;
