my artwork shows the growth of a girl who is just going to turn 18,the girl has flowers in her heart signifying her bloom into a fresh start. she is taking off her old jacket as a way to get past her old self.she is about to embark in a new journey and part of her life with freedom of imagination and being herself. her hopes and dreams are finally going to get dreams to take a flight. the staircase represents her journey ahead. the little girl is her past shelf who was a quiet one and the stars represent her thoughts and imagination ,which she kept to herself. the box represents how she used to hide herself away and her feelings but now she is finally mature enough to share her thoughts with the world and is no longer afraid. her imagination has already taken a flight and she is braver than before. the koi fish often represent good luck. the swans are symbolism of wisdom which she has gained with her growth and evolution internally and not just physically. the dove shows freedom. the butterfly coming out of the pupa is a symbolism of metamorphosis. the tree is the tree of life which is always connected to one's past and present and future.it keeps maturing. the art pages which are fluttering is the foundation of the girl and all her past works and at last fenix is there to symbol all the countless people who help us in our journey of growth and development and cheer us on. so lets have a happy 18 everyone and lets keep doing our best to be better and grow more.
