I think the businessman is the best description of the "grown-ups", he is obsessed with numbers and power. I was aiming for anyone who sees the drawing to take somehow the perspective of a child, looking up at the character; so I played a bit with the perspective, keeping it interesting, with that magical vibe but still portraying the character so immersed in numbers and the meaningless. (The xppen logo is carved into the wood of the desk. And also, as a little hint: the numbers in the image vary around 501,622,331.
