Springs is highly related to cherry blossom to me. The colors for this art challenge were perfect for that. As I feel deers to be the most beautiful creature on this planet it was obvious to me that a deer would be on the final drawing. I also wanted to give it a magical side and giving it lighting antlers and eyes was my favorite option. This drawing shows a part of myself as I would love to see a deer and even to be able to touch one once in my life. I tried my best to render that animal the right way even if I don’t think I have so much strong drawing skills. Anyways the composition is meant to lead the eye to the animal. I have a friend that said that the hair were very good because they seem to be taken in a vortex that goes to the deer. I liked very much that idea so when I was thinking to make it look more natural I decided to let it that way. After all that deer is supposed to be magic so that idea of a small vortex was quite good. The scenery is supposed to look like we’re in that special moment before peace when we feel like our breath was taken from us. It is supposed to be that special moment when we feel stressed but with a good stress like when you’re about to have exactly what you’ve been waiting for so long. I wanted people to feel this moment the best way possible. I hope my digital drawing makes you feel that.
