It’s been ages since I last picked up a pencil, so I decided to challenge myself with this! I wanted to mix two things I love: my three cats and the Japanese Hanami. Here are Camilla (the grey), Bianca (the white), and Pancrazia (black and white) hanging out under the cherry blossoms. I’ve never been to Japan, though I’d love to go someday, so I went for those warm, soft pinks you see when the petals start to fall. I had so much fun experimenting with different styles and coloring techniques. This feels like my first real step back into drawing, and I can’t wait to keep practicing. Hope you like it! 💗
