I joined the contest for fun and to explore creature designs. I decided to use my two characters, Ace (left) and Dallas (right), from a fantasy story I'm writing. The sea creature that they're riding is named Gillbert. Gillbert is a friendly sea serpent who enjoys company from people and fellow sea creatures. It took me a total of 56 hours and 40 minutes. Which is approximately 2.3 days 😅. Anyway, this piece helped me discover how to design creatures and render water.
