🌺Title: Journey to Spring town. 🌺The Gentle Illusion of Spring Art Challenge inspired me to create a piece that portrays very specific elements: nostalgia, color, temporality, and illusion. These are, essentially, the ways I remember the springs of my childhood in my hometown. My main character is named Thomasin; she might be a princess, though I’m not quite sure she’s a fan of rules. Homero is her horse—her great, faithful companion for riding through the flowery meadows. 🌺 The entire composition is designed to evoke the nostalgic feeling that the lands of Spring Castle stretch on for miles, expanding far beyond what we can see from Thomasin’s path. 🌺For this illustration, I broke free from the technical 3D constraints that usually define my work and decided to lean into pure creativity and enjoyment. Starting from a stylized 3D base, I combined different digital illustration styles using Photoshop and Procreate. I’ve attached a little bit of the process I used to achieve this analog, 20th-century cartoon look. Thank you! 🍃
