One of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to drawing is human anatomy. When I show my drawings to friends and ask them what they think is missing, the first thing they mention is that the anatomy is off... This is because I’ve focused more on understanding proportions, balance in line thickness and depth, to the point that I’ve neglected other equally important aspects. With this community tutorial, I wanted to focus my efforts on revisiting my study of human anatomy, so I replicated what I saw in the tutorial video when constructing the body’s primary forms using Clip Studio’s 3D models. Afterward, I went to the Posemaniacs website to gather references that I considered challenging, with the goal of simply understanding the main parts of the body without getting into too much detail. Before sketching, I first wanted to use the lasso fill tool to understand the shapes found in the human body.

After completing this exercise, one area I want to improve is the proportion of the limbs, since I sometimes end up drawing arms or legs that are either too short or too long :P
