Hey everyone. I'm REALLY into coloring and rendering, so much so that I haven't practiced nearly as much most of my other skills x-x so I thought I might as well give it a go to lightning!

After all this is my most recent drawing with light and shadow on a face and-

Sooo flat u_u

I want to make a huge illustration including a character seen from a low angle perspective, so I decided to also practice with that piece on mind

My hand seems to flow a million times better on paper than on digital, despite me drawing on tablets since I was a little kid lol

When I began the sketch I wanted to draw a different character, but it started to look like Agni from Fire Punch by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and that's my favorite piece of media ever so ofc I ended up switching to Agni :)). As he's on fire, I thought it would be a neat challenge to draw him

And as an additional little extra practice, I decided to try making different levels of shadow, using the line art for that too

And here's the final result :D honestly I'm pretty happy with it

The method from the tutorial was very easy to understand and I'll make sure to keep it on mind for my next illustrations :)
