I started by following the tutorial by adding light and shadow to boxes to better understand form and shape. Then I applied what I learnt to the asaro model, trying different lighting sources. With all that done, I applied all I’ve learnt by doing this drawing of Nephis, one of my favorite characters from Shadow slave, with the light source coming from below her face.
