When I think about growth and evolution, my parents come to mind. Married for forty-one years (forty-two in February 2024), they formed a big - really big - family during that time, we are four blood daughters, a goddaughter who became a daughter and a nephew who also became a son, and until now , a total of eight grandchildren (seven girls and one boy). But in addition to generating and creating lives, the two grew and evolved together, just like the fig tree in the photo (it was planted by my maternal grandfather - who is my father's uncle - about fifty years ago). In ancient cultures, the fig tree was a symbol of rebirth; It is the tree of life, it represents resistance and prosperity. For me, it represents my family, which grows and evolves led by my parents, and no matter the storm, they always bring the sun again.
