Growing up, I think we all had that one big dream of seeing where the magic actually happens. For this piece, I wanted to take that childhood wonder and give it a twist using the idea of a 'Christmas Multiverse.' ​In my drawing, the fireplace isn't just for fire—it’s a mirror and a doorway. The boy on the left is just like us, looking for a bit of magic, and he finds it when he sees himself looking back—only his 'other self' is an elf from a world where it's Christmas every day. ​I really wanted to capture that split-second of pure, contagious joy when the Elf-boy reaches out to invite his human self on an adventure. It’s a reminder that sometimes the world we dream of is just a reflection away, waiting for us to step through.
