My focus was on creating soft lighting, expressive character poses, and a natural environment that enhances the storytelling without overwhelming the composition. The XPPen Deco Mini7 V2 played a significant role throughout the entire creation process. Its compact size made it comfortable to use for long drawing sessions, while the responsive pen pressure allowed me to switch naturally between sketching, line art, and painting. The tablet's precision helped me refine the characters' facial expressions and intricate costume details with confidence. During the painting stage, the smooth pressure sensitivity made it easy to build soft lighting, blend colors seamlessly, and create the glowing sunlight filtering through the foliage. The shortcut buttons also improved my workflow by giving quick access to frequently used tools such as Undo, Brush Size, Rotate Canvas, and Color Picker, allowing me to stay focused on the creative process.
