Hi everyone! Here's my take on the contest task. ✨ As my main inspiration i chose vibrant, colorful Harajuku fashion from the 90' and early 2000', which encapsulates the playfulness and whimsy of summertime in a big city. 🌆 The colorful design juxtaposes the aloofness of Zero, the fashion acting as a security blanket, same as the outer shell of Null. The stitched up concept of Null, a bear created from miss-matched items and being able to be paired in different combinations, thanks to the zipper feature, parallels the DIY trends in Harajuku fashion. The design of Fenix keeps his most recognizable features, adapting them for the aesthetics of my choosing and the existing look of the shell designs of Null. 🌈 The whole creation process I tried to combine the main design aspects of my concept and the simplistic appearance of the existing line of toys, as well as keeping in mind the manufacturing possibilities.
