Hi! This is my design: NULLCRACKER For my design, I decided to use winter as the main theme, a season that, for me, has always been closely connected to Christmas. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, especially because it brings back a story that I love: The Nutcracker, whether it is through television, theater, or ballet. After reading Null’s story and learning how it came to life, I felt that it had a similar feeling to the way the Nutcracker characters come to life in this classic Christmas story. For Zero, I was inspired by Clara. To give a little nod to his passion for sewing, I added a thimble and a spool of thread as accessories. For me, the Mouse King was a perfect fit for Null, because of the shape of its ears. Finally, I couldn’t create a Nutcracker-inspired proposal without the Nutcracker himself, so I chose Fenix to take on this role because of his charisma and vibrant colors. I hope this little proposal can convey some of the magic and affection that this story means to me.
