The Spiritbound Trio •|• A Chinese Myth-Inspired Art Toy Design 🚨 ZOOM IN OR YOU’LL MISS OUT!! Hope you enjoy exploring the designs!! I wanted to bring a Chinese warrior theme into this design while making each character feel like part of the same story. Zero is quiet, so I imagined him as a warrior who doesn't need to say much. His design balances that reserved personality with traditional warrior elements and details that keep him recognisable as Zero. For Null, I focused on developing the bear's appearance around its protective role. I explored how its armor could work with its original toy-like features while fitting the Chinese warrior theme. Fenix takes inspiration from the nine-tailed fox. Layered clothing and decorative details give it an elegant, supernatural look that fits the Chinese mythology theme. Since the tails are an important feature, I kept the main robe intact and made selected accessories removable instead of making every part detachable. My favourite part was connecting the three designs through their colours, costume details and overall shapes. Each character has a different role and identity, but they still feel like part of the same collection. Thank you to XP-Pen and TOP TOY for this opportunity. It was a pleasure to explore this theme and bring my ideas to life through these designs.
