Christmas is about bringing out all that magic, love and happiness that we all carry inside us when this time arrives. The journey of Miracles at Christmas is about traveling through time and genuinely continuing to feel the same excitement and spirit as when we were children, making happy and connecting with our inner child today, tomorrow and always! When I think about the journey of miracles, I like to see it as the journey of life, I think that living, discovering ourselves and doing what we like is a miracle in itself. So in my entry I reflected how a woman goes through the most important moments of her life becoming what she wants to be, all thanks to a small act that another person did on their own journey, and how it all started on a Christmas. A little girl, curious about the world and what surrounds her, open to so many possibilities. A teenager, getting to know herself and somewhat anxious to move forward. A young adult, graduating from what she likes with more complete knowledge of who she is and what she wants. An adult, living and working on what she loves, with confidence in herself. And an older woman, looking back on everything she accomplished and how happy she was on her journey, and how it all started on a Christmas. Now this Christmas, she is ready to repeat the cycle and be able to guide another person on their new journey of miracles, on their own journey of life. Some ideas were materializing as my drawing progressed, to better complement my idea, as you can see in the wips!_ (This is for The Journey of Miracles contest, Reuploading with the new tag)

Now no one can be surprised with fireworks. Yes, it is incredibly beautiful and impressive, but hardly anyone would call it a miracle. And for me it would be a real long-awaited miracle if the reflections of fireworks sparkled again in the sky over the cities of my country, and no one would be afraid of their loud volleys and everyone would look with joy into the finally peaceful sky. It is that space that brings us together as friends, family or group. From its preparation to the moment it is put on the table, Christmas dinner is that miracle that always accompanies me.

밤과 낮, 현실과 그림 . 두 가지 주제를 한번에 넣어 그려보았습니다. 밤 속의 두 인물을 표현한 그림에 구멍이 뜷려, 구멍 밖의 밝은 낮과 함께 현실에 있는 두 인물을 보여줘 자연스럽게 반반그림이 되어 보이도록 연출해 봤습니다. 현실 속 인물들이 그림처럼 가만히 서 있지는 않으므로, 움직이다가 자연스럽게 현실과 그림 사이의 경계면에 침범한 것처럼 보이도록 손을 그렸습니다!

금의환향 프로젝트 : 노바(NOVA) 지구 오염이 극에 달한 2032년, 지구우주연합회는 생명 거주 가능성에 대한 데이터를 얻고자 프로젝트 노바(NOVA)를 실행하였습니다. 우주선에서 탄생한 AI 노바는, 지구에 대한 데이터를 바탕으로 비슷한 행성을 찾아다니는 임무를 부여받았습니다. 누구보다 지구를 동경하지만, 우주에서 태어난 노바는 그 아름다움을 데이터로밖에 느낄 수 없습니다. 지구온난화를 해결하기 위한 다양한 시뮬레이션을 하루에도 몇백 몇천 번을 거치며, 언제나 자신의 고향으로 돌아가는 상상을 하고는 했습니다. 그러던 어느날 골디락스 존에서 레이더 망에 포착된 한 행성을 발견하게 됩니다. 드디어 난의 실마리를 붙잡게 된 노바는 눈물을 흘리며, 곧 지구로 돌아갈 수 있다는 행복감과 안도감을 느끼게 됩니다. 목적을 위해 만들어진 AI지만, 그 누구보다 지구를 사랑하고 원하는 캐릭터 노바의 상황을 지구와 우주로 나뉘어 그려보았습니다.
