The design of the outfit is inspired by Chinese New Year. The guardian uniform features Asian-style decorations and colors that combine futuristic cyberpunk and military trends with the mythical image of the serpent.

This design is based on the premise that knowledge, while valuable, can become a destructive force when one lacks the ability to control it. The figure represents an individual hungry for power and forbidden wisdom who, in their reckless pursuit, was ultimately corrupted by the very thing they sought to master. The narrative draws inspiration from necromancy and the dark arts: the character’s flesh and spirit are slowly corroded, stripped of their humanity, until they become an entity doomed to be consumed by itself. Dark tones and greenish hues evoke toxicity and poison, symbols of the corruption spreading through them. In essence, this creature is not only a visually imposing enemy but also a reminder that knowledge without wisdom can become a curse.

My entry in the Ultimate Set Design contest organized by XP-Pen and PUBG Mobile. I hope you like it. MY INSPIRATION FOR THIS ART CONCEPT WAS A FUTURISTIC ERA IN WHICH HUMANS AND MACHINES COEXIST AND CAN MAKE UPDATES TO THEIR OWN BODIES, SO I WAS INSPIRED BY A CYBERPUNK STYLE.

When I was little, I loved watching the Barbie and the Nutcracker animation. For us, it was known as the lead soldier, and it has always been a figure I deeply cherished. It reminds me of the little toy soldiers I used to see at my cousins’ house when I was a child. :3
