Personal growth is an intimate journey, one that often intersects with the lives of numerous individuals - family, friends, colleagues, and even the author of that enchanting drawing book you revisited countless times during your youth. Yet, at times, life takes unexpected turns. We might experience pain, inflict it on others, and perhaps carry remorse. Regardless, these experiences leave indelible marks on our beings. Part of our growth entails acknowledging these scars and endeavoring to mend them, just like the art of Kintsugi. We strive to fill those scars with the most exquisite gold we can discover. This illustration encapsulates all that I've learned over the past few months about color, 3D rendering, and sketching—a testament to this new phase of my artistic journey.

I made my illustration based on a compilation of happy moments of another birthday being completed and the feeling of the moment shared between special people, a happy family at a small party with just each other showing how important the family reunion is and how magical this moment can be, I created it with a Halloween theme taking advantage of the date that it would soon arrive, giving emphasis to the (magic birthday) part.

They start transforming, evolving, and living. In symbiosis with the ship, they redefine their architecture, clothing and transportation. Emphasizing their new stage and rebirth. This place becomes not only their sanctuary but also a source of enlightenment. They learn to coexist between the sand, the bright desert sky, and the ship. Countless new possibilities open up before them, the ship changes their lives and their vision of the future. My work is the encounter with the unknown, a journey through darkness to a brighter future. Evolution, like a river of time, transforms their essence. This is a story of growth and creative evolution that inspires and motivates us to build anew and transform our future. . . . Within the space ship, change was in the air, Their culture blossomed like a springtime bloom. Evolution of hearts, like a river flowing fair, In this station, they found their eternal room.

The memories of turning 18 are still fresh in my mind. Time is moving, huh? awkward hallways of school to the world of adulthood, embracing uncertainties. Nerves and excitement, legally an adult at 18, but what does that mean? Embark on a shoreline or plunge into a big, foreign ocean? Invincibility fantasies were dashed by the age of 18. The young celebration was invaded by responsibilities. Hope appeared amidst the mayhem. The hope for a better future sparked a desire to learn and develop. Not all solutions, only bravery. Choices reflected a fresh viewpoint. College became the scene of evolution. Study nights transformed into friendships that continued to grow and develop. Dreams from your youth are now attainable. With each stride, the future grew closer. Evolution that goes beyond years—resilience in the face of life. The distance traveled is remarkable when looking back. Uncertain bar to accepting change and grabbing opportunities. Recall that growth shapes the fabric of life for those who are on the edge of it. Embrace it, trust in sunnier future. Life's journey, evolving to our finest selves, step by step.

I had several ways of exploring the theme of growth and evolution, and I fell back on what is fundamental for an artist, that is to say talking about one's progress in drawing. We all start from the same point, and it's up to us to believe in our skills to improve our work and achieve our goal. My drawing tells of my work which continues to grow and which continues on its path to always perfect itself. At the start of our journey, we all discover, we experiment, we push our creativity. As we grow up, we develop a curiosity about how to draw, we have a critical eye, and a freedom of expression. And the more we grow, the more we want to surpass ourselves, color, anatomy, animation, composition... we must never stop believing in ourselves.

Here's my entry for the Growth & Evolution contest! The theme resonated with me, as it radiates positivity and motivation. Personal development is something I value a lot, and witnessing XPPen's improvement over the years is truly remarkable! In my drawing, I aimed to capture the emotion of passion and motivation in personal growth, and to celebrate XPPen's achievements with bright colors and energy. Making this piece was a ton of fun! It made me push beyond my comfort zone, experimenting with new techniques and composition. I genuinely felt my art style grow and evolve with the experience, and I guess that aligns with the theme!

SEP[18]This is my 18th creation made in September 2023, and I am participating in this contest. The title of this artwork is "The Challenger or A New Challenge," which I took from one of XPPEN's essences: BRAVE!! This painting tells the story of an artist challenging a god of art to sit on the highest throne in the world of art or evolve into a new god of art! I added artworks created by humans from different eras, such as the Prehistoric era with the Moai statues, the Ancient era with Egyptian cats, and the present era with the painting you see now. The Moai statue is crying because someone has succeeded in reaching this place, while the crescent moon is angry because someone dares to challenge the god of art. The gold color signifies luxury, the blue color signifies tranquility, and the red color signifies anger. If you look closely, there are 18 pens there, which are a birthday greeting from me to XPPEN for its 18th anniversary through this artwork!!! I believe 18 is a new beginning!! This artwork delves deep into the realms of consciousness evolution, inviting viewers on a journey through an alien garden on an ancient, enigmatic planet. GROWTH AND EVOLUTION: Every Individual goes through their own personal journey of growth and evolution and I wanted to show my own journey of from birth to present. There was so much I wanted to do here and narrowing it down to still be able to convey some sort of story was very difficult. I hope that by following the blue thread you will get some idea of how I arrived to where I am now. Starting from birth to picking up pencils for the first time, growing and discovering new interests and activities and hobbies but all the while creating art up until the all important turning 18, from then art took a back seat as the parties started and work and family took over. Fast forward and I have a child of my own. During lockdown I saw him drawing with his markers. This got me thinking and I remembered how much I loved painting in my youth. I dug out my old sketch books and paints/pencils and turned my attention back to art, now That I was stable in life I was able to I make time to draw again, but creating art had evolved so much and there was so many avenues to explore. It was time for me to learn again, after numerous tutorials I bought a pen tablet and dived into digital art, I have grown in life and my art has evolved from traditional to digital along with the tools I use. We have all had to overcome some distractions and obstacles to grow and evolve and and to get to where we are now. I carry my experiences with me and I hope that this is portrayed in my entry.

I made this video by drawing 18 different artworks inspired by 18 different famous art styles across the world throughout timelines, trends, and cultures featuring Fenix of XP-Pen to showcase the evolution and growth of art style. The 18 styles depict the 18th anniversary of XP-Pen and lastly, the "NOW" depicts the art styles of each artist today from all nations, cultures, languages, etc with their own uniqueness. It shows the beauty and uniqueness of all the art styles that were there in the past and its evolution tending to be more unique with each artist even today. Each artwork is completely drawn by me with many minute details which include the name of Fenix, the stylus, the wordings found in each artwork, and the mention of 18 depicting the anniversary.
